DON VOISINE was born in Fort Kent, Maine and studied at the Portland School of Art. He has been exhibiting his work nationally and internationally since the 1970s. Recent solo exhibitions include a fifteen-year retrospective at the Center for Maine Contemporary Art in Rockland, and shows at Robischon Gallery in Denver, Gregory Lind Gallery in San Francisco, and Jeff Bailey Gallery in Hudson, NY. Voisine has participated in numerous museum and gallery group exhibitions across the United States as well as throughout Europe and Australia. His work is found in public collections across the country, and his exhibitions have been reviewed in The New York Times, Hyperallergic, Art in America, Artnews, The Huffington Post, and The Brooklyn Rail, among many others. Voisine is represented by McKenzie Fine Art in New York.
