Nicholas Buffon (b. 1987, Seattle, WA) lives and works in New York. He attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston (BFA, 2008) and the Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts, Bard College (MFA, 2011). Recent solo exhibitions include Callicoon Fine Arts (2019, 2016, 2014) and Freddy, Baltimore (2014). His work was included in FRONT International: Cleveland Triennial for Contemporary Art in 2018, and has been installed at the Jewish Museum, New York; the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit (MOCAD), Michigan; and the Weatherspoon Art Museum, Greensboro, North Carolina. His work can be found in the Rubell Family Collection, Miami; the Kadist Foundation, San Francisco; and the Akron Art Museum, Ohio. In Summer 2019, he has a solo exhibition at Poets House in New York City.
