Scott Hocking, b. 1975, lives and works in Detroit. He creates site-specific installations, sculptures and photography projects, often using found materials and neglected locations. Hocking’s work has been exhibited at many museums nationally and abroad. For his 2024 Reliquary Room he created a wunderkammer of the NYC gallery Trotter & Sholler (top detail). It included several of his sculptures, and photographs of site-specific projects he’d created around Detroit. More here.
