Brooklyn-born photographer Anders Goldfarb is known for his spare and enigmatic black and white street scenes. He assisted the artist Saul Leiter for 10 years. The Center for Brooklyn History houses over 60 of his works in its collection. Among others, The Museum of the City of New York, The New York Public Library, and The New York Historical Society, hold his works. He teaches at Pace University. The images above are from his 2024 book of more private-feeling photos, Ash Avenue, (Red Hook Editions).
